Fuel Injector Grommet is the sealing grommet that surrounds a fuel injector where it sits in the cylinder head / camshaft cover on the 2.2L diesel (Puma) engine.
It seals the injector bore against oil migration and keeps the injector correctly located in its seat. The grommets are routinely replaced whenever the injectors are removed, as the material hardens with heat and age and loses its seal.
