Battery Management System sensor for the negative battery terminal, forming part of the vehicle's battery monitoring and charge-control circuit.

It clamps to the negative battery post and combines the negative cable terminal end with an integrated current sensor. By measuring battery current and state of charge, it provides the data the vehicle uses to regulate alternator output and manage its smart-charging strategy.
