Rear Door Seal for the rear door aperture on Series III and Defender 90 and 110.

Frequently asked questions

What is the rear door seal (LR044314LR) used for?
The rear door seal runs around the perimeter of the rear tail/load door aperture on the Land Rover Series III and Defender 90 and 110. It compresses when the door shuts to keep out water, dust and wind noise, so a hardened or split seal soon lets in draughts and leaks.
Which models and body types does it fit?
This seal fits the Series III and the Defender 2007-2016 (Puma), in both 90 and 110 wheelbase, including Hard Top and Station Wagon 3-door and 5-door, from VIN 7A000001. It's the primary seal for the rear load door aperture.
Is the rear door seal easy to fit at home?
Yes, the rear door seal is typically a straightforward DIY job. It usually push-fits around the door aperture flange with no special tools. Clean the flange first and work the seal on evenly so it sits flat and seals all the way round.
