Power Transfer Unit Seal is an oil seal for the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) on transverse all-wheel-drive models.

The PTU takes drive from the transmission and turns it rearward to the propshaft; this seal retains lubricant at the unit's shaft interface with the front axle case and keeps out contamination. Replaced when servicing the PTU or curing an oil leak at the front axle case.
