CV Boot Kit - Rear A repair kit for the constant-velocity (CV) joint boot on the rear driveshaft, part of the rear axle drive assembly.
The CV boot is the flexible sealing gaiter that encloses the CV joint, retaining the joint grease and keeping out dirt and water as the driveshaft articulates. The kit is used to renew the boot when it has perished or split.
