Front Brake Pads - friction pads for the front calipers, part of the front brake disc and caliper assembly.

The pads are clamped against the front brake discs by the caliper pistons, converting the vehicle's momentum into heat through the friction material. Pad thickness and even wear across the axle should be checked whenever the front discs are inspected, and pads are replaced across an axle rather than individually.

Pads only - supplied without the caliper fitting kit, so the shims, clips and springs are not included.

These are the front brake pads for the Discovery Sport, supplied without a fitting kit. They're the friction pads only, for the front calipers, and don't include the shims or fitting hardware that some pad sets come with.
How many pads are supplied and do I need a fitting kit?
Front brake pads fit as an axle set, so one pack covers both front wheels. Because there's no fitting kit included, reuse your existing shims and hardware if they're in good condition, or source the fitting kit separately.
Do these front pads fit my Discovery Sport?
These front pads fit the Discovery Sport from 2015 with two applications: builds up to VIN GH999999, and front 17-inch disc and caliper builds from VIN HH000001 to KH999999. Check your VIN and front brake size before ordering.
