The end panel closes the outboard end of the bulkhead, forming the side of the footwell and the face that carries the door hinge pillar and the bulkhead-to-wing mounting points. It sits low and enclosed behind the front wing, where mud and water collect against the seams, which is why this section corrodes long before the rest of the bulkhead.

The panel is a pressed steel section supplied for cut-and-weld repair. The front wing comes off, the corroded metal is cut back to sound steel and the new section is welded in and refinished. Prime and seam-seal both faces and all enclosed cavities once welding is complete.
