Outer Sill - a structural bodyside repair panel for the lower edge of the 3-door body, fitted on the right-hand (off-side) along the base of the door aperture between the front and rear wheel arches.

The outer sill is the visible outermost panel of the sill (rocker) assembly. It spot-welds over the inner sill and closing member to form the lower bodyside box section that carries the door seal and stiffens the floor. Supplied as a pressed steel weld-in repair panel to replace a corroded original.
