Air Conditioning Condenser for the refrigerant circuit, mounted ahead of the radiator at the front of the vehicle.

High-pressure refrigerant vapour leaving the compressor passes through the condenser core, where airflow across the fins removes heat and the refrigerant condenses to a liquid before continuing to the receiver drier and expansion valve. Because it occupies the leading airflow position it is exposed to road debris and corrosion, and damage to the core or its tube joints causes refrigerant loss and poor cooling performance.

The system must be evacuated and recharged, and the receiver drier renewed, whenever the circuit is opened.
