EGR Valve for the exhaust gas recirculation circuit on Td5 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo diesel and 2.0L L-Series diesel engines.

The valve meters a controlled flow of exhaust gas back into the inlet to lower peak combustion temperatures and reduce oxides of nitrogen (NOx) in the exhaust. It operates between the exhaust side and the intake manifold under engine-management control.
