Rear Inner Sill - Left-Hand structural body panel for the Range Rover Classic bodyshell.

The inner sill runs along the lower edge of the body, forming the inner face of the sill box section between the B-post and the rear wheelarch. It provides structural rigidity to the lower bodyshell and forms the inner surface against which the outer sill, floor edges, and surrounding panels locate and seal.

This is a weld-in replacement panel, typically renewed when the original has corroded through or suffered structural damage.

Frequently asked questions

What is the rear inner sill (MXC3919) and where is it located?
The rear inner sill is the left-hand structural panel along the lower body of the Range Rover Classic. It forms the inner face of the sill box section between the B-post and the rear wheelarch, stiffening the lower bodyshell and giving the outer sill and floor edges a surface to locate against.
Which side is this, and what fits the opposite side?
MXC3919 is the left-hand rear inner sill. The right-hand equivalent is MXC3918. The panels are handed, so check which side has corroded before ordering, as the left and right sills aren't interchangeable on the Range Rover Classic.
How is this inner sill installed?
This inner sill is a weld-in panel, making it a body-shop job rather than a bolt-on repair. The rusted section is cut away and the new steel pressing welded into place, typically during a larger sill and floor restoration. Welding equipment, panel preparation, and fresh rust protection are normally required.
