Air Flow Hose for the Range Rover Classic fitted with the 3.5-litre V8 EFI engine.

This rubber hose connects the air filter housing to the air flow sensor in the induction system. The air flow sensor measures the volume of air entering the engine to regulate fuel delivery via the electronic fuel injection system. This hose maintains a sealed, unrestricted air path between the filter and sensor.

Frequently asked questions

What does the air flow hose do?
The air flow hose connects the air filter housing to the air flow sensor on the Range Rover Classic with the 3.5-litre V8 EFI engine. It carries filtered air to the sensor, which measures airflow so the fuel injection system can set the right fuel delivery.
Where is the air flow hose fitted?
The air flow hose sits in the induction system between the air filter housing and the air flow sensor on the 3.5-litre V8 EFI Range Rover Classic. It forms part of the sealed air path feeding the electronic fuel injection.
Why does the air flow hose need replacing?
Air flow hoses typically perish, crack or split with age and underbonnet heat on the Range Rover Classic. A split hose lets unmetered air past the air flow sensor, which usually causes poor running, rough idle and weak throttle response on the V8 EFI engine.
