Radiator Fan Shroud - the lower section of the cooling fan housing, fitted behind the radiator around the bottom of the engine-driven cooling fan.

The shroud seals the lower half of the gap between the radiator core and the fan, forcing the fan to draw its air through the radiator matrix instead of pulling it from around the sides. It carries the lower mounting points of the fan housing and maintains blade-to-core clearance, keeping cooling airflow consistent when the vehicle is stationary or moving slowly and there is no ram air through the grille.

Age, vibration and underbonnet heat make the moulding brittle, and cracked or broken mounting tabs allow the shroud to move into the path of the fan. It pairs with the upper fan cowl PGK500440 to complete the fan housing.
