Description:
Idler Pulley for the auxiliary drive belt system on the TD6 3.0L inline-6 diesel engine.
The idler pulley guides the belt's routing around the front of the engine without driving any accessory components. Operating at high rotational speed, the internal bearing is subject to wear over time. A failing idler pulley typically produces a whining or rattling noise from the engine front; if not replaced, bearing seizure can cause the belt to derail.
