Supercharger Drive Belt Bracket - mounting bracket within the belt drive arrangement of the 4.2L AJ V8 supercharged petrol engine.

Bolts to the front of the engine in the supercharger drive section and provides the fixed mounting point for the associated pulley hardware, holding it in plane with the rest of the belt run. Because the bracket sets pulley position, its condition governs belt alignment - a bent or cracked bracket, or worn mounting holes, allows the pulley to sit out of true and causes belt edge wear and running noise.

Inspect whenever the belt or pulleys are removed, and renew if the mounting faces or threads are damaged.
