Air Spring - Rear for the Electronic Air Suspension of the Range Rover L322.

The Range Rover L322 uses pneumatic air springs on all four corners, controlled by the Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) system. Each rear air spring mounts between the rear axle assembly and the chassis, inflating and deflating to adjust ride height and platform level across varying loads and terrain modes. A deteriorating air spring sleeve causes pressure loss, resulting in rear sag, increased compressor cycling, or EAS fault codes. Supplied as a single air spring.

Frequently asked questions

What does the rear air spring do on a Range Rover L322?
The rear air spring is part of the Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) on the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012). It sits between the rear axle and chassis, inflating and deflating to set ride height and level the platform under changing loads. This is the OEM Dunlop rear spring, supplied as a single unit.
What are the signs a rear air spring needs replacing?
Signs a rear air spring needs replacing include the back of the L322 sagging overnight, the compressor cycling more often, or EAS fault warnings. The rubber sleeve typically perishes or cracks with age, causing slow air loss. Fitting a new spring restores correct rear ride height.
Should I replace both rear air springs at the same time?
Replacing both rear air springs together is usually worth considering, since the L322's left and right springs age at a similar rate. This item is supplied as a single air spring, so you'll need two to cover the full rear axle. Many fitters change them in pairs to avoid uneven ride height.
How do I make sure I'm ordering the rear air spring and not the front?
This is the rear air spring for the Range Rover L322, which differs in shape and mounting from the front units. Front and rear air springs typically aren't interchangeable, so ordering by position matters. Confirm part number RKB500082 and check your VIN to be sure you're getting the correct rear spring.
