Brake Hose - the flexible hydraulic line in the braking system. It carries pressurised brake fluid from the rigid chassis-mounted brake pipe to the wheel, providing the flexible section that absorbs suspension travel - and, on front-axle applications, steering movement - while maintaining a sealed, high-pressure circuit.
The reinforced construction resists expansion under braking pressure, supporting firm pedal feel and consistent fluid delivery to the wheel cylinder. Secure union connections at each end and correct routing prevent chafing and fluid loss in service.
