Starter Motor - high-output unit for the 2.5L diesel engine, operating in the engine starting circuit.
When energised through the starter solenoid, the pinion is thrown forward to engage the flywheel ring gear and crank the engine for starting, then retracts once the engine fires. This high-duty version provides increased cranking torque over the standard motor. Supplied as a 12V unit.
