Front Brake Disc - vented - the rotating friction element of the front disc brake assembly.

The disc provides the surface the front caliper pads clamp against, converting the vehicle's kinetic energy into heat under braking. Internal vanes between the two friction faces draw air radially through the disc, dispersing that heat and limiting the temperature rise that leads to pad fade and brake fluid vaporisation.

Supplied singly. Discs are replaced in axle sets, two per axle, and the pads should be renewed at the same time so that the new friction surfaces bed in together.
