Front Brake Disc - Cross-Drilled and Grooved - solid, 262 mm diameter. Part of the front brake discs and calipers assembly.

The disc mounts to the front hub flange and provides the friction surface clamped by the front caliper pads. The drilled holes and machined grooves vent the gas, brake dust and water that collect at the pad interface, keeping pad bite and pedal feel more consistent through repeated braking and continuously de-glazing the pad face.

Solid-face construction - dimensionally interchangeable with the standard 262 mm front disc and using the standard caliper and pad set, so no bracket or caliper modification is required. Fit both sides of the axle together and bed in with fresh pads; expect slightly faster pad wear than with a plain-faced disc.

Note: this is the 262 mm solid front disc. The larger 277 mm vented front disc (SDB101070) is a separate part and the two are not interchangeable.
