Description:
40 Amp fusible link used within the vehicle electrical protection system to safeguard high-current circuits.
The component consists of a calibrated fusible element housed in a protective casing with bolted eyelet terminals, allowing it to install inline within the wiring harness.
When excessive current occurs, the internal element melts to interrupt the circuit and prevent damage to wiring and connected electrical components.
Used in fuse and relay protection assemblies and main power distribution circuits, including installations located under the seat. The green housing identifies the 40 Amp protection rating.
