ABS Sensor - Front Left-Hand, part of the four-wheel anti-lock braking system.

The wheel speed sensor mounts at the left-hand front hub and reads the passing teeth of the exciter (reluctor) ring as the wheel turns. It feeds the resulting rotational-speed signal to the ABS control unit, which compares all four wheels to detect impending lock-up and modulate brake pressure accordingly.

A failed or contaminated sensor commonly triggers the ABS warning lamp and disables anti-lock function on that circuit.
