Injection Pump - diesel fuel injection pump for the 2.5L six-cylinder BMW diesel engine, supplied as a reconditioned unit.

Driven by the engine, it draws fuel from the supply system and delivers it to the injectors at high pressure, in the correct quantity and with the correct timing for each cylinder. Its output governs fuelling and injection timing, and therefore engine performance, smoothness and idle stability.

As a reconditioned unit it is stripped, rebuilt and recalibrated to restore correct internal tolerances and delivery.
