The shells carry the crankshaft within the bottom end, maintaining the oil-film clearance between the main journals and the block. This set is machined 0.025" oversize to suit a crankshaft whose main journals have been reground undersize. For the 2.5L Td5 five-cylinder turbo diesel engine.
