Synchroniser Kit - 5th/Reverse Gear for the R380 five-speed manual gearbox, serving the mainshaft 5th gear and reverse gear assembly.

The synchroniser brings the gear and shaft to matched speed before engagement, removing the crunch and jump-out that develop as the cones and baulk rings wear. It is fitted during a gearbox rebuild, or when 5th gear becomes difficult to select or will not stay engaged.

This kit comprises the 5th gear, the reverse gear and the synchroniser baulk rings.
