Rear Left Air Suspension Height Sensor for the Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) system.

The EAS control unit uses signals from the four ride height sensors to adjust air spring pressure and maintain the selected suspension height. This sensor mounts on the rear left side of the vehicle and connects to the suspension via a pivot link arm. A defective sensor typically triggers EAS fault codes and causes the system to default to a fixed height or produce uneven ride height between corners.

Frequently asked questions

What does the STC3594AA height sensor do on a Range Rover P38?
The STC3594AA is the rear left height sensor for the Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) on the Range Rover P38 (1994-2001). It measures ride height at the rear left corner and feeds that signal to the EAS ECU, which adjusts air spring pressure to hold the selected suspension height.
Where is the rear left height sensor located on a Range Rover P38?
The rear left height sensor mounts on the rear left of the Range Rover P38 and links to the suspension through a pivot link arm. It's one of four ride height sensors the EAS system uses, one at each corner, to monitor and level the vehicle.
What are the signs the P38 rear height sensor needs replacing?
A failing rear height sensor on the Range Rover P38 typically triggers EAS fault codes and makes the air suspension default to a fixed height or sit unevenly between corners. Erratic or slow ride height changes at the rear left usually point to the sensor or its link arm.
Is part number ANR2495 the same as the STC3594AA height sensor?
ANR2495 is the alternative cross-reference for the STC3594AA rear left height sensor on the Range Rover P38 (1994-2001). Both codes refer to the same rear left air suspension height sensor, so either will fit the same corner of the EAS system.
