Piston Ring Set for the 3.9 litre V8 petrol engine, 0.020" (0.51 mm) oversize.

The set supplies the ring pack for one piston, sealing the combustion chamber against the cylinder bore and controlling the oil film left on the bore wall as the piston travels. Eight sets are required to rebuild a complete engine.

The oversize dimension suits a block that has been rebored 0.020" over standard and fitted with matching oversize pistons. Ring sets must correspond to both the piston and the finished bore size, so confirm the rebore dimension before ordering, and check ring end gaps against the actual bore during assembly.
