Front Brake Pad Set - friction pads for the front axle, part of the front brake assembly.
The pads sit in the front caliper and are clamped against the brake disc to generate braking torque at the front wheels, where the greater part of the braking effort is developed. Supplied as an axle set, so the friction material is renewed on both front wheels together and braking stays balanced across the axle.
For the 325 mm front brake disc / 17-inch front caliper configuration. Renew the pads before the friction material reaches its wear limit, and check disc thickness, caliper slide pins and the pad retaining hardware at the same time.
