4 Stage Adjustable Shock Absorber - front position, standard travel. Operates in the front suspension damping circuit, mounting between the axle casing and the chassis bracket in place of the original front damper.

Damping is adjustable through four stages - Comfort, Standard, Firm and Sport - using a rotary knob on the shock body, so the damping rate can be matched to the fitted spring rate, gross vehicle weight and intended use without removing the unit.

Twin-tube construction running low-pressure nitrogen over oil, with an 18mm induction-hardened, hard-chromed shaft, a 35mm sintered and Teflon-coated piston and a 57mm body. The nitrogen charge holds the oil under pressure to prevent cavitation and the damping fade that follows it. Dual oil and dust shaft seals and fully welded pins and eyes.

Open length 590mm, closed length 365mm - standard travel, for use with standard-height coil springs. Bushes and mountings follow the original pattern. Replacement bushes are ROA100050 for the front upper mounting and ROA100040 for the front lower mounting.
