4 Stage Adjustable Shock Absorber - rear position, standard travel. Operates in the rear suspension damping circuit, mounting between the axle casing and the chassis turret in place of the original rear damper.

Damping is adjustable through four stages - Comfort, Standard, Firm and Sport - using a rotary knob on the shock body, so the damping rate can be matched to the fitted spring rate, gross vehicle weight and intended use without removing the unit.

Twin-tube construction running low-pressure nitrogen over oil, with an 18mm induction-hardened, hard-chromed shaft, a 35mm sintered and Teflon-coated piston and a 57mm body. The nitrogen charge holds the oil under pressure to prevent cavitation and the damping fade that follows it. Dual oil and dust shaft seals and fully welded pins and eyes.

Open length 595mm, closed length 370mm - standard travel, for use with standard-height coil springs. Bushes and mountings follow the original pattern. Replacement bushes for both the upper and lower rear mountings are ROA100050.
