Adjustable Panhard Rod - shorter version. Part of the front axle location linkage on coil-sprung live-axle vehicles.

The panhard rod is a lateral tie rod fitted between the front axle and the chassis, mounted broadly in parallel with the drag link that connects the steering box to the axle, and it controls sideways movement of the axle. When a live-axle vehicle is lifted, the fixed length of the standard rod pulls the axle off centre. An adjustable rod allows the axle to be brought back to centre so the steering geometry is restored.

Constructed from 30 mm diameter high-tensile steel tube with a 5 mm wall thickness, with a 20 mm precision-machined threaded adjuster and lock nut part way along its length. Supplied complete with polyurethane bushes, ready to fit. Suits both left- and right-hand-drive vehicles.

The replacement bush kit is TF1034.
