Electric Winch is a 12V recovery winch for off-road and utility use, mounting to the vehicle's winch plate or bumper.

The M12.5S develops a 12,500 lb (5,670 kg) rated line pull from a 6.6 hp series-wound motor driving a three-stage planetary gearbox (216:1 reduction), with an automatic in-drum brake. Finished in corrosion-resistant gunmetal grey powder coat and rated IP67.

Supplied with 25m (80 ft) of Dyneema synthetic rope and rock guard, two wireless remote controls and a cable remote. Triple LED drum illumination aids night-time operation.

Dimensions: 563 x 162 x 196 mm.

Why synthetic rope instead of steel cable?

Synthetic Dyneema rope is much lighter than steel cable and stores far less energy under load, so it's safer if it ever fails. It also won't throw sharp burrs and is easier to handle. The supplied rock guard protects the rope where it feeds over the fairlead.
