Synthetic Winch Rope - replacement winch line for the M12.5s and A12000 12V electric winches, supplied in red with a rock guard sleeve.

Synthetic rope holds far less stored energy than steel cable, so it does not whip if it parts under load, and it is light enough to free-spool out by hand. The rock guard is an abrasion sleeve fitted over the working end, protecting the rope where it drags across rock and gravel and passes through the fairlead mouth.

Run synthetic rope over a hawse fairlead; roller fairleads chafe the fibres.
