Description:
Winch Cable Damper is a safety accessory placed over the winch line during vehicle recovery operations. By adding weight to the cable or synthetic rope at mid-span, the damper reduces the risk of dangerous line recoil in the event of a snap under tension - absorbing kinetic energy and directing the line toward the ground rather than allowing it to recoil at high velocity.
For use with steel wire rope and synthetic winch lines. Compatible with all vehicle-mounted winch systems.
