Snatch Block is a 12 T rated pulley block for the winching circuit, built in alloy with stainless steel fittings.

The side plate swings away so the block can be fitted over a rigged line without threading the rope end through, and the sheave is greaseable so it can be serviced after use in mud and water. The sheave is suitable for synthetic winch rope.

Rigged against a fixed anchor with the line returned to the vehicle, a snatch block roughly doubles the available pulling force at half the line speed. Rigged as a redirect, it allows the pull to be taken at an angle to the vehicle's centreline.
