Shock Absorber - 8-stage adjustable rear damper, left-hand side, with a piggyback reservoir.

52 mm zinc-plated monotube body and reservoir, pin mountings top and bottom, and 125 mm (+5") more length than the standard rear damper to suit raised and long-travel suspension.

The reservoir is carried directly on the damper body rather than on a remote hose, so the units are handed to keep the canister correctly positioned once mounted. This is the left-hand item; the right-hand equivalent is TF485RH.

Oil and nitrogen in the canister are separated by a floating piston, giving the fluid capacity needed to resist aeration and damping fade under sustained load. An 8-stage damping adjuster on the reservoir sets the rate; nitrogen pressure is factory set.
