Radius Arm - front axle locating link in the coil-sprung front suspension. The radius arm ties the front axle to the chassis, controlling fore-and-aft axle location and setting the caster angle of the swivel assemblies.

This arm is built with 3 degrees of caster correction, restoring the correct caster angle on vehicles fitted with a suspension lift and recovering on-centre steering feel that a raised ride height would otherwise reduce.

Supplied without bushes; the suspension bushes are fitted separately.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TF508 radius arm and what does it do?
The TF508 is a front radius arm, the link that ties the front axle to the chassis and controls its fore-and-aft location. It also helps set the caster angle of the swivels. This Terrafirma arm is built with 3 degrees of caster correction to suit a lifted vehicle.
What does the 3-degree caster correction on the TF508 do?
The 3-degree caster correction built into the TF508 restores the front axle's caster angle after a suspension lift. Raising a coil-sprung Land Rover rotates the axle and reduces caster, making the steering feel vague and slow to centre. The corrected arm brings caster back so the steering self-centres properly.
Does the TF508 radius arm come with bushes?
No, the TF508 is supplied without bushes, so you'll need to fit suspension bushes separately before installation. Buyers typically fit new polyurethane or rubber bushes to suit how the vehicle is used. Check you have the right bushes on hand before fitting.
Which Land Rovers does the TF508 radius arm fit?
The TF508 radius arm fits the Defender (1987-2016), Discovery 1 (1989-1998) and Range Rover Classic, the coil-sprung models with radius-arm front suspension. It's intended for lifted vehicles needing caster correction rather than standard-height ones.
