Brand Terrafirma
Cranked Rear Radius Arm - links the rear axle to the chassis, controlling fore-and-aft axle location and reacting drive and braking torque.

The cranked profile relieves the strain placed on the radius arm-to-chassis bushes once a suspension lift is fitted, and frees additional axle droop for greater articulation. Fabricated from zinc-plated CDS steel tube.

Supplied without bushes; the suspension bushes are fitted separately.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TF509 cranked rear radius arm used for?
The TF509 is a cranked rear radius arm that links the rear axle to the chassis, controlling fore-and-aft axle location and reacting drive and braking torque. The cranked profile relieves strain on the radius arm bushes once a suspension lift is fitted and frees extra axle droop for more articulation.
Does the TF509 come with bushes fitted?
No, the TF509 is supplied without bushes. The radius arm bushes are bought and pressed in separately, so you'll need the correct rear radius arm bush set for your build before fitting.
How many radius arms are needed for the rear axle?
The rear axle uses two radius arms, one on each side, so they're usually replaced as a pair to keep axle geometry even. These are typically sold individually, so order two for a complete rear set.
Which Land Rovers does the TF509 fit?
The TF509 is listed for the Land Rover Defender up to 2016 (90, 110 and 130), Discovery 1 (1989-1998) and Range Rover Classic. The cranked design specifically suits vehicles running a suspension lift.
