Bulb Holder - double-pole bulb holder for the rear stop and tail lamp.

It carries the twin-filament stop/tail bulb and locates by bayonet fitting into the rear lamp housing, connecting the bulb's two filaments to the separate stop and tail feeds in the rear lamp harness. The double-pole arrangement keeps the two circuits electrically isolated so that the tail and brake functions operate independently.

Repeated heat cycling and moisture degrade the spring contacts over time, producing dim or intermittent operation, cross-bleed between the stop and tail circuits, and in severe cases a heat-distorted holder body.
