What is the RTC3255 dynamo brush set used for?
The RTC3255 brush set replaces the carbon brushes in the Lucas C40 dynamo fitted to Land Rover Series I, II and IIA. The brushes bear against the commutator to carry current through the rotating armature. As they wear down, charging output drops.
How do I know the dynamo brushes need replacing?
