Swivel Housing Repair Kit for the front axle swivel assembly, covering one side of the axle. This kit excludes the swivel housing itself and supplies the wear components needed to overhaul an existing housing. It suits the later configuration with the steering arm at the bottom of the swivel.

It rebuilds the swivel joint where the hub carrier pivots on the axle casing, restoring steering articulation and sealing the swivel unit. The kit includes the swivel pin, Railko bush, thrust washer, swivel pin bearing, O-ring, lock washer, locker, shims, oil seal and retainer, joint washers, and a sachet of swivel housing grease.

What are the signs the front swivel needs rebuilding?
Worn swivel components usually show as stiff or notchy steering, play at the hub, and oil weeping from the swivel seals. The swivel pin, Railko bush and thrust washer carry the steering load and run in oil, so they wear over time. Left unaddressed, worn swivels cause steering wander and further axle damage.
