Oil Filter for the 4.4L V8 turbo-diesel engine, part of the engine lubrication system.

This is a replaceable filter element that fits the engine oil filter housing, straining metal particles and combustion by-products from the circulating oil. It is supplied with the sealing O-rings needed to reseal the filter housing on refitting. Renew at every engine oil service.

What is this oil filter and what does it do?
This oil filter is the replaceable element for the 4.4L V8 diesel engine's lubrication system. It strains metal particles and combustion by-products from the circulating engine oil, protecting bearings and internals. Fitted to Range Rover L322, L405 and Range Rover Sport L494.
Does it come with seals?
Yes, this oil filter is supplied with the sealing O-rings needed to reseal the filter housing on refitting. One filter kit is needed per oil service. Fit the new O-rings rather than reusing the old ones to avoid oil leaks at the housing.
