Instrument spanningsstabilisator - een thermisch bimetaalapparaat dat aan de achterkant van het instrumentenpaneel is gemonteerd en de voedingsspanning voor de brandstofniveaumeter en de koelvloeistoftemperatuurmeter regelt.

De stabilisator geeft een gepulseerde gemiddelde spanning van ongeveer 10V af, ongeacht de staat van de accu, waardoor consistente en nauwkeurige meterwaarden worden gegarandeerd. Zonder regeling zouden de meteraanduidingen verschuiven met veranderingen in de systeemspanning. Ook wel instrument spanningsregelaar genoemd.
