Deze afdichtring zorgt voor de brandstofdichte afdichting tussen de brandstofniveausensor en de opening van de brandstoftank. Geïnstalleerd onder de flens van de sensor, wordt deze samengedrukt tegen het tankoppervlak wanneer de borgring wordt aangebracht, waardoor brandstoflekkage rond de sensor wordt voorkomen.

The ARA1502L is the OEM fuel tank sender sealing ring for the Series III (109" from chassis suffix C), Defender (1987-2006, excluding Td5) and Range Rover Classic (up to 1994). It seals the sender unit flange against the tank aperture, preventing fuel leakage around the sender.
Does this fit the Defender Td5, or is that a different seal?
This seal does not fit the Td5. The fitment data explicitly excludes Td5-engined Defenders. You'll need a different sender unit seal for the Td5 variant.
Should the sender sealing ring be replaced every time the sender is removed?
