Motorhefbeugel wordt aan de cilinderkop geschroefd en biedt een gekeurd bevestigingspunt voor het hijsen van de motor.

De beugel, gemonteerd op de viercilinder benzine- en dieselmotoren, geeft een haak of ketting een veilige verankering boven de kop, zodat de motor waterpas en veilig in of uit het voertuig kan worden gehesen tijdens demontage, hermontage of revisie in de werkplaats. What is the Engine Lifting Bracket and what does it do?

The Engine Lifting Bracket bolts to the cylinder head and gives a hoist a rated attachment point for lifting the engine. On the Land Rover Defender and Series 2 and 3 it lets a hook or chain anchor over the head so the engine can be raised level during removal, refitting or overhaul.

Which engines does this lifting bracket fit?

This bracket fits the four-cylinder engines: 2.25L petrol, 2.5L petrol, 2.5L naturally aspirated diesel and 2.5L turbo diesel. It does not fit the 200 or 300 TDi. On the Defender and Series 2 and 3 it bolts to the cylinder head.
