Koppelingshulpcilinder voor het hydraulische ontkoppelingscircuit van de handgeschakelde versnellingsbak. Deze wordt gevoed door de koppelingshoofdcilinder en wordt gemonteerd op de koppelingshuis van de versnellingsbak.

Hydraulische druk van de hoofdcilinder werkt op de zuiger van de hulpcilinder, die de duwstang tegen de koppelingsvork drukt om de koppeling te ontgrendelen. Een lekkende afdichting of gecorrodeerde boring verliest druk, wat resulteert in een zacht pedaal en onvolledige ontkoppeling van de koppeling.
