The FTC3276 is the front driveshaft oil seal at the swivel pin housing on the Land Rover Defender (up to 2016) and Discovery 1. It runs on the front driveshaft where it passes through the inner swivel ball, sealing in axle and swivel lubricant and keeping out water, dirt and grit.

How many FTC3276 seals are needed for the job?

Two FTC3276 seals are fitted per vehicle, one on each side, so order two for a complete front-axle job. They're typically renewed whenever the swivel housing is stripped or the constant-velocity joint is serviced.

What happens if the front drive shaft seal fails?
