Voorruitscharnier - links - voor de neerklapbare voorruit van de Defender.

Dit scharnier vormt een van de twee draaipunten aan de onderrand van het voorruitframe, waardoor de voorruit plat op de motorkap kan worden neergeklapt. Het wordt aan de ene kant aan de A-stijl/schutbordbeugel bevestigd en aan de andere kant aan het voorruitframe. Per voertuig zijn één linker- en één rechterscharnier vereist.
