Visco-gekoppelde motorkoelventilatorconstructie gemonteerd op het koelsysteem om de luchtstroom door de radiator te regelen op basis van de temperatuur.
De visco-aandrijving schakelt geleidelijk in naarmate de luchttemperatuur stijgt, waardoor de ventilatorsnelheid toeneemt om de koelvloeistoftemperatuur te stabiliseren en de parasitaire belasting te verminderen wanneer de koelbehoefte laag is.
Gebruikt op Td5 2.5L 5-cilinder turbodieselmotoren in Defender en Discovery 2 toepassingen.
