The STC1696 is the cylinder-three high-pressure injector pipe for the 2.5L 300 TDi turbo diesel. The seamless formed-steel pipe carries pressurised fuel from the injection pump outlet to the number-three injector, its bore and length set to preserve injection timing and delivery pressure to that cylinder.

Does the STC1696 cover more than one cylinder?

No, the STC1696 serves cylinder three only. The 300 TDi uses a separate dedicated pipe for each of its four cylinders, each formed to a set length. A full set of four pipes is available separately if you plan to renew the whole high-pressure circuit.
